Melton Design Inc. is a Calgary based interior design firm founded by interior designer Kelly Melton in 2005. We offer full in-house interior design services to a wide variety of healthcare, corporate, and residential clients.

Founder and Principal
Kelly Melton is the Principle Designer and the creative mind behind Melton Design Inc. Kelly graduated with an interior design degree from Mount Royal College and prior to starting her own business gained experience working with a local architectural firm. Early in her career she also appeared in 22 episodes of one of the first reality TV design shows.
Kelly founded Melton Design Inc. in 2005 and since then has led the design of over 300,000 square feet of healthcare and commercial interiors. She has built her business through long standing relationships with clients and industry suppliers. Kelly thrives on developing stylish, efficient, and thoughtfully designed spaces with budget always top of mind.
When Kelly has a spare moment you can find her at a coffee shop researching the latest design trends, training for a half marathon, or water skiing in Kelowna, all with her three kids and husband in tow!
LANDRA TREVIS

Landra is a partner at Melton Design Inc. and brings over 15 years of experience in business development and project management. She holds an MBA in addition to a Bachelor's degree and a Master's degree in Geomatics Engineering. As a professional geomatics engineer her career has focused on helping grow small companies and start-ups. Her expertise in survey and 3D visualization help maximize the efficiency of the spaces that Melton Design creates and provides her clients with additional opportunities to add value to their new builds and renovations.
Landra's is also an active volunteer for local committees. This includes 4 years on the University of Calgary’s Geomatics Engineering Advisory Committee (2 years as Chair), 7 years on SAIT’s Geomatics Advisory Committee (current Chair), and 3 years as a member of Tecterra’s Project Advisory Committee.
When she has some downtime you will find her either mounting biking, skiing at Kicking Horse, or creating a new painting in her art studio.

SERVICES
SPACE PLANNING
We gather your programming in-formation and apply your goals and objectives in plan view. We create the layout for your office or healthcare environment that meets the needs of the company, the employee, and the customer alike.
BUILDING CODE STUDY
We complete a Code Study analysis specific for each project. We stay current on code requirements and have recently completed a course to identify the changes in the new 2019 Alberta Building Code.
PERMIT & CONSTRUCTION DRAWINGS
We prepare required working drawings for tender, construction, and development and building permit submissions. We also offer services to submit for permits and see them through to final approval.
CONCEPTUAL DESIGN & PROGRAMMING
This is the first step in our design process. During this stage we establish your goals and key objectives. We will make your vision a reality ensuring your goals and budget are aligned to create the perfect space.
TENANT COORDINATION
Our experience in commercial, healthcare and base building design allows us to be intermediaries between tenants and landlords. We assist with space planning, drawing review, and site consultation, to ensure the landlord and tenant walk away from a deal satisfied and that needs of both parties are being addressed.
PROJECT MANAGEMENT
We guide your project from its beginning to move-in and beyond. We maintain close contact with yourself, contractors, suppliers, and landlords allowing us to achieve a cohesive conclusion that is on time and on budget.
CUSTOM MILLWORK
We offer design services and contractor recommendations for moldings, trim, wall paneling, doors, crown molding, and built-ins.
SPECIFICATION RESEARCH & CONSUlTING
We research specifications, products, and advancements. We identify and address the specific design or construction issues you may have on your project from space planning to furniture and material selection.
FINISH & FIXTURE SELECTION
We source and select the finishing pieces that tie your entire design together. This includes but is not limited to lighting, plumbing, wall coverings, window coverings, artwork, appliances, and hardware.
SIGNAGE & BRANDING
We assist with the development of logos and interior or exterior signage that will create a solid brand for your company. We work and have accounts with highly recognized sign manufactures and distributors to assure we can provide you with the best quality and pricing possible.
DECOR, STYLING & ART
We work with you to ensure that the finished product aligns with your vision and goals for the space.
We also create custom original artwork for your office or home.
